I am a doctoral student in Information Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. I hold a B.A. in Management Information Systems (MIS) and M.A. in Big Data in Culture & Society. I anticipate completing all the requirements for my Ph.D. and a graduate certificate in Digital Humanities by May 2024.

I am interested in search engines, particularly inherent biases in information retrieval systems. My research concerns primarily the development of thorough designs of interface and metadata with digital literacy education that can help users to
comprehend the complex dynamics and elements that can cause implicit biases behind the presentation of search results.
