Data analysis tutorial website
Data Science Tutorials for Beginners:
A Digital Humanities Project
for History Scholars

I created this website to assist beginner-level researchers who are interested in creating their own data analysis projects but have limited or no prior experience in data science. The website offers a basic online tutorial on data analysis. This resource provides a comprehensive tutorial on data analysis and visualization, utilizing a variety of free online toolkits. This project has two primary objectives. First, I aim to introduce the fundamentals of data analysis and visualization to assist researchers in conducting their analyses efficiently. I believe that practicing sample analyses can help users develop the necessary skills to select suitable sources and tools for their research. Secondly, I believe that what this website is describing is closely relevant to digital literacy because it teaches users how to effectively use online tools to access and utilize various sources of data. Digital literacy encompasses not only the skills required to use computers and the internet effectively, but also the ability to critically evaluate potential bias, propaganda, and misinformation on online platforms. I have decided to migrate this website, and the new website will include a section on digital literacy, which is currently under development.
